I’m a full time actress, television host and also a full time student doing Communication focusing on New Media. How do I do that? I can bend time and space. Really I can. I am also adding filmmaker to the list as I’ve started experimenting in that department. I do mini art projects to keep me happy-ier and a lot of random things that sometimes gets me into trouble. I have a scanner personality and am interested in almost everything, from arts to quantum physics and theatre to the theory of time.

In fact Raz and I have verbally started a society called The Secret Scanner Society (Triple S) for people like us. Email me for membership details – or if you want to know what it is.

My current love affair is trying to learn how to play the Ukulele, finishing my short script and studying about sensuality and the twin flames. I’m based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia but am ever willing to travel for assignments. I’m also half Nepali and quarter Indian with a little bit of Arab thrown in for good measure.

I used to work at Laundry bar organising their music events and working with the media. I still love organising events, so if you need someone you can contact me! I’ve worked with a lot of the Malaysian Bands as well as some International ones.

Wanderlush

Wanderlush is mostly about what happens to me behind the scene, the bits you can’t see on telly. I’d hate to call it a fan site, but I’d love for it be a fan site! :)

Wanderlush is one of my little pet projects, a place to accumulate all my varied interest in one place so that people will then have proof that I’m mad! Since my interest ranges from this to that, that’s exactly what you’ll see here! I’m always on a quest for self-improvement, so this is my journey..

A little bit of self love (If you need to hire me, I’m impressive)

Check out my online Acting Profile.

My love for all things entertainment started at a very young age when my cousin and I would force friends and relatives to sit through our 2 man theater troupe. My big break so to say was back in 1997 when I got a chance to write and present an episode of The Attic show. My second big break (yes I’ve had quite a few) was when I won the chance to be a host for Discovery Travel and Adventure channel’s Destination Week: Malaysia. That was a wonderful experience and no I didn’t get to meet Ian Wright. Up until 2005 I was mainly hosting programs and doing some *ahem* modeling on the side, (I’m kinda proud to say that I was one of the 10 semi-finalist for the Guess International Model search) never really having much interest in acting, however late 2005 I got my first acting role (as well as my third big break) as a lead in a local drama Trio and finally got bit by the acting bug!

Since then I’ve gone on to act in the TV Drama Mya Zara (2006), award winning Susuk (2007),Frontpage (2008) and the highest rated TV Drama 2008, Bella, amongst others. I also hosted Kembara Makanan Halal Jelajah Dunia(2007/2008) a halal food travel show where I got to visit 9 different Asian countries (Taiwan, Korea, Hong Kong, Cambodia, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Phillipines and Macau).

Just recently I was in the first ever Short and Sweet Festival, Malaysia where I acted in Subway Confessions and directed As the Bell Rings. Both plays made it to the finals.

I’ve also had a few small roles in Movies such as Susuk-The Movie (by Naiem and Amir Muhammad), Lips to Lips- Amir Muhammad’s first indie movie and Tipu Kanan Tipu Kiri (by Sharad Sharan). TKTK is now out in the cinema.

Am currently shooting a drama for Astro calleh Hikayat Putera Shazlan which will air soon. Also the show Bonda is on air every Friday 9pm on TV9.

Yes, I’m kind of a big deal (heh heh jk). I love doing Indie films, so if you have an interesting project I’d love to work on it / in it.

Check out my online Acting Profile for more on what I’ve done.

On another note..

If you are a kick ass cameraperson, editor, soundguy etc, willing to work with or teach me the tricks of the trade, I’d love to meet up!

Toodles~
