Twilight the movie
Phew. Finally, a breather. I’ve just wrapped shooting the telemovie Taubah. It was a tough 2 weeks. Two shoots, plus finals coming up, so assignments and presentations were due. If I wasn’t reading scripts, I was reading my text books or doing my assignments!
Anyway, I’ll put up some pictures from the shoot soon. I had a lot of fun, but I was also so stressed out from lack of sleep it was enough to make me wish I had a different life – kidding! I love my life, stress and all.
Which brings me to the movie Twilight. I thought the book was ok. I mean I read them all. But I only liked the vampire and werewolf bits. The bits where they fight and the super powers and all that jazz. The romance was neauseating and extremely tween centered and there were many times I felt like choking Bella because she is such an annoying drama queen idiot girl. And if I had an intense, controlling idiot like Edward Cullen after me I’d have to kill myself.
So, point is, main characters – not very appealing.
That won’t keep me from watching the movie though. I have an intense need to make myself suffer. First off, the casting. In the book the Cullens are only the most beautiful, ethereal people in the world. Behold the cast:
Uh… ok..
Rosalie (the blond girl) is supposed to be the hottest Cullen. In the book she is like the ice queen goddess, beautiful beyond belief! The one in my mind was a cross between a supermodel and a shimmering goddess. But the girl in the movie reminds me of Jennifer Coolidge:
I mean come on! Are we supposed to take this seriously? All the extremely hot actors and actresses out there and this is what they come out with?
These people have to live up to the image of vampires of yesteryear like Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise! Sigh..
Anyway, that said, I’ll be watching the movie with Sandra later today!

jennifer coolidge is one HOT MILF!!!!!!!!!!

I feel like you should take more issue with the fact that all of the people in that photo are white. strangey.
Well… that’s how the book is written. However, in the movie they did have the pre-requisite black and asian guy! uh… Yay!
Very nice. I still haven’t seen the movie, but I have been to Forks many times. I am actually excited to see the O.P. on the big screen.
